Our company is an exclusive and growing family owned business which is specialized in
Grape growing, located 26km out of Cowra CBD. We are committed to discovering varietals that are suited to our region. Our grapes could be used to make Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, etc.
Since grapes grow as seasonally, it may take few months and during this period of time, we must consider some financial forecasting, for example, interest rate, exchange rate, Future price trend of grape and even the world economic status, the business as being many years running, now it’s a good time and appropriate size to manage and distribute our own income and making financial plans which should mix short-term and long-term goals, furthermore, there are some assets in the estate, we also need this person to be able to manage these assets.
As the successful applicant for this role, you will be responsible, but not limited to the following:
1. Advising the investment strategies, distribution of earnings and sources of funds.
2. Participating in setting financial goals, and developing and implementing strategies for achieving these goals.
3. Participating in preparing financial plans with a mix of short and long term investments.
4. Improve the systems surrounding all aspects of budgets, forecasts, reports, investment information and business planning
5. Monitor and evaluate financial information systems and suggest improvements where needed
6. Assisting in meeting superannuation compliance requirements.
7. Reviewing and revising investment plans based on modified needs and changes in markets.
8. Provide a support service by working with all departments and the management teams to help in making financial decisions.
9. Offer professional judgment on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance
10. Providing periodic updates on the performance of investment portfolios.
